mainscreen.tv is operated by an individual based in Austin, Texas, USA. These terms cover using the site and placing a Bid. The mechanics of ranking, Seasons, and payment are described in full on the Rules page - these terms incorporate that page rather than restating it, so there is one description of how a Bid works, not two that could drift apart.

Age requirement

You must be 18 or older to submit a video or place a Bid on mainscreen.tv. This site collects no age information and has no way to verify it - by using the payment flow, you're confirming you meet this requirement.

The rules

How ranking, Seasons, and Bids work - including that Bids are non-refundable, even if you're outbid - is described in full on the Rules page, which is the same copy you confirm at checkout before paying. Reading these Terms does not change anything the Rules page says.

Content you submit

• You may submit a link to any public YouTube video (TikTok and Instagram are planned for a later release). You aren't uploading anything to this site - you're pointing at a video that already exists on its own platform.
• You're responsible for making sure the video you link complies with that platform's own community guidelines. Submitting a link doesn't give this site any ownership over the video, and this site claims none.
• There is no pre-publish review. A successful payment puts a Submission live immediately. An admin kill switch can remove a Submission from rotation at any time afterward, at the operator's discretion - removing a Submission does not refund its Bids.

Copyright complaints

If you believe a video linked on this site infringes your copyright, email support@mainscreen.tv with the video's URL and a description of the issue. This is an informal review process - there is no separately registered DMCA agent - and a Submission found to be infringing will be removed via the same kill switch used for any other content report. Removal does not refund the Bids already placed on it.

Payment

Payment is processed by Stripe. Placing a Bid authorizes that payment; all Bids are final and non-refundable, whether or not the video you funded ends up on air - the full acknowledgment you confirm before paying is on the Rules page.

No warranty

This site is provided as-is. There's no guarantee it will be available at any given time, that a video's rank will behave any particular way, or that the site is free of errors. Reaching the Top 10 is not a cash prize - the reward is the exposure and the click-through described on the Rules page, nothing more.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, the operator of mainscreen.tv is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from using the site. The operator's total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid in Bids in the 12 months before the claim.

Changes to these terms

These terms may be updated as the site changes - the effective date above will change with them. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising from these terms or the site will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Austin, Texas.
